"Products" refers to any rugs, accessories, r goods offered for sale. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake
the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Canada. Words used in the singular include the plural and vice versa. References to any gender include all genders.

We employ the use of cookies. By using Area Rug Shop's website you consent to the use of cookies in accordance with Area Rug Shop’s privacy policy. Most of the modern day interactive web sites use cookies to enable us to retrieve user details for each visit. Cookies are used in some areas of our site to enable the functionality of this area and ease of use for those people visiting. Some of our affiliate / advertising partners may also use cookies.

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, and designs, is the intellectual property of Area Rug Shop or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. All orders are subject to acceptance by Area Rug Shop.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of pricing errors, inventory availability, suspected fraud, or errors in product information.

An order is not considered accepted until it has been processed and shipped.

Pricing Errors 

While we strive to ensure that all prices listed on our website are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, system error, or other inadvertent mistake, Area Rug Shop reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order placed for a product listed at the incorrect price, whether or not the order has been confirmed or payment has been processed.

If an order is cancelled due to a pricing error, any amounts charged will be fully refunded to the original method of payment.

Product Information & Variations

We make every effort to display product descriptions, images, colors, and dimensions as accurately as possible. However, variations may occur due to lighting, screen settings, manufacturing processes, or natural material characteristics.

Measurements are approximate and minor variations in color, texture, pile height, or size are inherent to rug manufacturing and do not constitute defects.

Shipping & Delivery

Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Area Rug Shop is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, supply chain disruptions, or events beyond our control.

Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery.

Returns & Exchanges

Returns, exchanges, and refund eligibility are governed by our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Certain products, including clearance or discounted items, may be designated as final sale and are not eligible for return or refund. Refund processing times and eligibility are outlined in our Return Policy and may vary depending on the original method of purchase.

In-Store & Online Purchases

Area Rug Shop operates separate systems for online and in-store transactions. Purchases made online and purchases made in store may be processed using different point-of-sale systems.

Online orders selected for in-store pickup or exchanged in store may require additional processing time. Returns and exchanges must follow the original method of purchase, and refunds will be issued to the original form of payment in accordance with our Return Policy.

While we strive to make the process as seamless as possible, processing times and procedures may vary between online and in-store transactions.

Hyperlinks & Third-Party Content

Certain organizations may link to our website without prior written approval, provided such links are not misleading and do not imply endorsement or sponsorship.

The following organizations may link to our Web site without prior written approval: Government agencies; Search engines; News organizations; Online directory distributors when they list us in the directory may link to our Web site in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Web sites of other listed businesses; and Systemwide Accredited Businesses except soliciting non-profit organizations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups which may not hyperlink to our Web site.
