Under-padding

Under-padding isn't just used to help keep your rug in place, it is also to help protect your floors. The backing of rugs can be abrasive and over time can cause wear and tear on your hardwood or laminate flooring. Under-padding protects your floors by creating a barrier between the rug and your floors, it also allows for proper air circulation underneath your rug. Under-padding can also be used to add cushioning to your rug, not all rugs are thick and plush, so by adding a thicker under-padding to your rug you are adding another level of comfort to your space.
